Our projects have earned national awards and recognition from agencies and associations, including the Environmental Protection Agency.

Services for Mack Dealers and Customers

In an effort to provide Mack dealers and their customers with timely and relevant information about transportation related incentives SIG offers several specialized services. Our work is designed to move the transportation industry toward higher performance in the areas where transportation has the greatest impacts: access, climate, energy, ecological function, integrated planning and costs. Therefore, SIG’s focus will be on clean transportation incentives, primarily, alternative fuels and emission reduction incentives.

Services for Mack Dealers and customers include:

Incentive Inventory: SIG will maintain an up-to-date inventory of federal and state grant announcements and information, incentives, and programs. The inventory will provide a brief description of each incentive and a link for more information. Mack Truck Corporate will distribute an updated inventory once a month through the Mack extranet.

Grant Summaries: When relevant grant opportunities are announced, SIG will develop a one page summary of the grant program for quick reference. The summary will include eligible entities, eligible projects types, funding details, application deadline and links for more information. These documents will be distributed by Mack Trucks Corporate through the Mack extranet as opportunities are announced.

Grant Writing:  SIG can assist in developing the right project for each specific grant program, focusing on the outlined evaluation system; we will help develop on the most competitive application possible for Mack customers. SIG staff will complete every part of a grant application; including project narrative, timeline, budget, forms and calculations.

Grant writing efforts can be contracted by any corporation, organization or municipality and are contingent fee based. We accept the fact that in today’s environment, grants are especially competitive and therefore believe that our accomplishments should be intertwined with successful achievement for our clients.  Upon execution of a mutual agreement with the Mack dealer and/or client, SIG will prepare grant or incentive application materials on behalf of the eligible entity. If the grant or incentive is awarded to the entity, SIG will be reimbursed a percentage of the funds awarded. The current level of reimbursement is 5% but SIG reserves the right to revise this rate depending on the scope of work required to prepare an application. If the entity is denied award – SIG will waive this fee.
